Ginger-Almond Tea
I love this drink for a luncheon, bridal (or baby) shower, or even just for fun. It’s absolutely delicious and easy to make!
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiling water
- 5 regular individual-sized tea bags
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
- 3/4 cup lemon or lime question
- 1 T vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 quart ginger ale
Directions
- Pour boiling water over the five tea bags and steep for five minutes.
- Remove tea bags and gently squeeze the tea from them back into the tea.
- Stir in sugar, water, lemon (or lime) juice, vanilla extract and almond extract.
- Chill.
- Just before serving, add the ginger ale and stir.
